You're Invited to participate in our NL Training Trip to
Seminole State Park, GA!!!
Trip Dates: March 9, 10, 11th 2024
Reg Deadline: Mar 4th 2024
Location: Seminole State Park in Georgia
Cost: $200 Per Athlete
Open to Ages: 12yrs - 18yrs, Boys & Girls!

Sat Mar 9th
6:00am: Team Van Leaves The Long Center
(12-3pm Practice at FSU Pool, Morcom Aq. Center)
4:15pm: Arrive to Camp
4:30pm Set up/ Unload into CampSites/Cottage
5:30pm: Start Cooking Dinner
6:30 Group Dinner
7:45 CampFire & Team Building Games
9pm Star Gazing Hike
Sunday Mar 10th
7:00am Morning Trail Hike
8:00am Breakfast
9:00am Leave to Morcom Aq Center
10-12pm WP Training & Scrimmage
12:30pm Lunch
2pm Private Team Kayaking Expedition
6pm Return to Camp
6:30pm Dinner
7:15pm Team Video Session & Games
Monday Mar 11th
7:00am Breakfast
7:30am Clean Up CampSites
8:00am Drive to Florida Caverns State Park
9:00am Private Tour of FL Caverns

FAQ's
Where are Athletes Sleeping?
All Female athletes will stay together indoors at the Cottage adjacent to our campsite. All male athletes will be grouped together and sleep in tents. We have reserved (5) Campsites & 1 Cottage, all directly next to each other.
Do I need a Tent / Sleeping Bag?
Some tents are available for Athlete use, but ALL athletes MUST bring a Sleeping Bag.
Female athletes should plan on bringing an extra blanket instead of a Sleeping Bag. as they are staying indoors.
What Age Groups is this Training Trip available to?
This trip is available to any Male or Female Athletes between the age of 12 - 16yrs old. Limited Space Available!
Will Food be Provided?
YES! We have access to a full kitchen on site and food will be prepared for all athletes while we are away. In addition, we will be stopping for food while away from camp for in-water training. Feel free to bring any snacks for over the weekend!
Are Parents allowed to Join?
YES! Interested in getting involved? Were looking for Parents Volunteers to help over the Trip! Limited Space Available!
How are athletes arriving to the CampSite?
We have rented a Team Van with space for (13) Athletes. Parent Chaperones are able to transport athletes themselves..
When are we leaving and when are we returning?
The Team will meet at The Long Center at 7am Sat Mar 9th. We plan on returning home 5pm - 7pm on Mon, Mar 11th.
What do Athletes need to bring?
Athletes MUST bring the following:
Sleeping Bag & Head/Flashlight, (1 ) Water Bottle
Snacks, Sun Screen, Swimsuit, Towel, Goggles,
(3) changes of clothes, Sweatpants & (2) Jackets
Are there any other Requirements?
Yes. All Participants must sign a Liability Waiver and have an Active USAWP Membership to participate.
Where are we doing Pool Training?
Athletes will have Pool Training at the Morcom Aquatic Center at FSU on Saturday, Sunday, & Monday.
